Warning! When removing the luggage compartment door, use an assistant.

Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the spare tire from the tailgate.
Open the trunk door.
Remove the bolts and remove the opening limiter from the luggage compartment door.
Disconnect the rear door wiring harness connector located inside the rear pillar.
Disconnect the rear window washer fluid supply hose from the connection located inside the rear pillar.

Use a marker to mark the position of the door hinges.
While an assistant supports the door, remove the bolts securing the door hinges to the body and remove the door from the vehicle.
Installation
Install the door and secure the door hinges with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 34 N·m.
Install the opening limiter (6) on the luggage compartment door and secure with bolts, tightening them to a torque of 34 Nm.
Connect the door wire harness connector located inside the rear pillar.
Connect the rear window washer fluid supply hose to the connection located inside the rear pillar.
Adjust the position of the tailgate.
Install the spare tire on the tailgate.
Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
Adjusting the door position
Check that the door closes easily and there is no play. If necessary, loosen the hinge bolts and adjust the position of the door by moving it vertically or horizontally so that the gaps around the perimeter of the door correspond to the required values.

- Gap between the sides of the luggage compartment door and the rear body panels (A and B): 7.0±1.5 mm
- Gap between the bottom of the tailgate and the sill (C): 16±1.5mm
- Gap between the sides of the tailgate and the rear bumper (D): 12.0±1.5 mm
Adjust the position of the tailgate trapezoidal retainer so that the gap (A) does not exceed 3.0 mm, then tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 N·m.
