Clutch Pedal Position Adjustment Diagram
The pedal must occupy a certain position in height. The pedal adjustment is performed in accordance with the illustration. The height value H should be 157-207 mm with the mat placed on the floor. Without the mat the size is reduced by 10 mm.
To adjust the height, loosen the rod lock nut (2) and adjust the rod. Tighten the lock nut to a torque of 28 Nm.
Next, the gap "H2" is adjusted. To do this, the lock nut is loosened and the stop bolt (1) is rotated. The value of "H2" should be 0.5 - 1.0 mm. To check, the pedal is taken by hand and moved back and forth. After adjustment, tighten the lock nut to 20 Nm.
Finally, the pedal stroke "H1" is adjusted. If there is a mat, the pedal stroke from the initial position to the stop on the floor should be 162 mm.
After all adjustments have been made, check the operation of the clutch as described in Section Checking the clutch without removing it.
