Removal and installation the front door lock cylinder (Opel Corsa B)

Removal

1. Remove the door handle.

To remove the lock cylinder, insert the key into the lock.

2. Remove the retaining ring (5).

3. Remove element (3). Make sure that the tension spring (2) does not slip off.

4. Remove the coil spring (2).

5. Remove the cylinder (1) from the holder (4).

Remove the cylinder with the key inserted. Before removing the key from the lock cylinder, wrap the cylinder with adhesive tape to prevent the lock plates from falling out.

Installation

1. Insert the lock cylinder with the key into the cover.

2. Place the coil spring with the cast element and secure with the retaining ring.

Spring fixation

The ends of the spring must stand on the cast element one on top of the other (with tension).

3. Install the door handle.
