Protection against freezing of locks and seals (Opel Corsa B)

            0

1. Lubricate the lock cylinder. For this purpose, use special grease OPEL-ET-No. 90018813, an 8 cm long tube and a syringe (OPEL-ET-No. 90020227), and a syringe (5 ml). In addition, glycerin or Vaseline is required.

When filling with grease, the lock cylinder must be dry. If necessary, dry it with compressed air.

2. Put the tube on the end of the syringe. To do this, heat the tube on one side with a hair dryer or hot water and expand the heated end with a suitable object.

3. The other end of the tube (approximately 35 mm long) squeeze slightly in a vice.

4. Fill the syringe with special grease and insert it approximately 35 mm into the lock cylinder.

5. Fill the lock cylinder with grease until it comes out of the boot.

6. After lubricating, insert and remove the key several times and close the lock. Then wipe the key with a rag.

7. Lubricate dry seals of glass and all doors with glycerin or petroleum jelly.
