On models with rear drum brakes, remove the brake drum as directed in chapter 9.
On models with rear disc brakes, remove the brake caliper and brake disc as described in chapter 9. The bracket can be hung to the side so as not to disconnect the hydraulic system pipeline.
On models with rear disc brakes, disconnect the return spring from the handbrake lever and the brake pad support disc.
On models with ABS, disconnect the sensor plug located at the rear of the hub assembly.

Remove the four nuts and pull out the hub assembly. On models with rear disc brakes, the assembly can be removed together with the brake pad support disc. In this case, disconnect the handbrake cable from its lever. On models with rear drum brakes, the brake pad support disc can be left on the rear suspension beam.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
New hub nuts must be installed and tightened in three stages as specified in the specification.
On models with rear disc brakes, if required, ensure that the handbrake cable and return spring are correctly installed.
On models with rear disc brakes, install the brake disc and brake caliper as shown in chapter 9.
On models with rear drum brakes, install the brake drum as shown in chapter 9.
Before installing the road wheel and lowering the vehicle to the ground, check the handbrake cable adjustment as specified in chapter 9.
