Remove the anti-roll bar as described in the previous section.
If the stabilizer bar bushing requires replacement, the entire end link must be replaced.
To do this, place the stabilizer rod in a vise, then use a ball spacer and progressively thicker spacers to remove the end link. Alternatively, the link can be removed by knocking it off the shaft with a punch, although there is probably a risk of damage in doing so.
If necessary, repeat this procedure with the other end link.
When replacing, press or drive the end link into the stabilizer bar as shown in fig. 10.12.
Before installing the stabilizer bar, inspect the stabilizer bar-to-lower arm bushings and replace if necessary.
Install the stabilizer bar as described in the previous section.
