If the stabilizer bar bushing requires replacement, the entire end link must be replaced.
To do this, place the stabilizer bar in a vice, then use a ball joint separator and progressively thicker shims to remove the end link. Alternatively, the link can be removed by tapping it off the bar with a punch, although this will likely cause damage.
If necessary, repeat this procedure with the other end link.
When replacing, press or hammer the end earring into the stabilizer rod as shown in Fig. 10.12.

Before installing the stabilizer bar, inspect the bushings that secure the stabilizer bar to the lower arm and replace them if necessary.
