Removal



1. Loosen the clamp nuts (1) on the right and left sides of the rod and remove the stabilizer.

Installation



1. Lubricate the rubber support with silicone oil (OPEL No.90 001 800 or 19 48 454). Replace the damaged rubber support.

2. Secure the stabilizer in the area of the flats with clamps to the left and right rods and tighten the new self-locking nuts with force 20 Nm. Observe dimension A between the inner tie rod bolt and the centre of the rubber support.

Features of DOHC 1.0 and 1.2 L engines



1. Make sure the stabilizer is in the correct position: the right trunnion should be facing down in the installation position. Dimension A, indicated in the illustration, for DOHC engines 1.0 and 1.2 l should be 110 mm.
