Removal
1. Place the car on a lift
2. Remove the carpet under the left seat and the battery cover 1 (figure 2.86).
3. Disconnect the battery.
4. Remove the engine sump, auxiliary equipment drive belt, pulley, unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel rail protective cover.

5. Install clamp Mot. 453-01 on the low pressure pipe of the hydraulic power steering.
6. Disconnect the low pressure pipe of the hydraulic power steering using tool Mot. 1448, the high pressure pipe of the hydraulic power steering, the pressure sensor.
7. Unscrew the two upper radiator mounting bolts.
8. Disconnect the electrical wiring connectors from the generator.
9. Unscrew the generator mounting bolts and remove it (figure 2.87).
Installation
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. To install the generator correctly, squeeze the rings 1 (figure 2.88).
11. Tighten the generator mounting bolts (25 Nm), pulley mounting bolts (21 Nm), and fuel rail protective cover mounting bolts (25 Nm).
