Warning! Diesel-powered vehicles are equipped with two exhaust gas recirculation valves - mechanical and electromagnetic. Replacing the mechanical exhaust gas recirculation valve on vehicles with a diesel engine is only possible as an assembly with the upper part of the intake manifold.
Removal
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
Disconnect the connector from the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve.
Disconnect the vacuum hoses (arrows) from the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve.

Loosen the nuts and remove the exhaust gas recirculation system valve.
Installation
Install the exhaust gas recirculation valve and secure it with the nuts, tightening them to a torque of 4 N·m.
