Exhaust gas recirculation system components (Opel Omega B)

Recirculation valve



On 2.0L DOHC engines, the valve is located at the rear of the cylinder head. On 2.5L and 3.0L engines, the valve is located on the right-hand cylinder head.

2.0L SOHC engine



1. Remove the wire cover from the cylinder head cover.

2. Disconnect the connection connector and vacuum hose from the valve.

3. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the valve.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

2.0L DOHC engine



5. Cm. pp.2–4.

2.5 and 3.0 liter engines



2.5 and 3.0 liter engines


6. Disconnect the valve connection connector.

6. Disconnect the valve connection connector.


7. Unscrew the mounting screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the valve.



8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Recirculation valve tube

1. Unscrew the connecting nuts.

2. Pick up the phone.

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Recirculation valve adapter



2.5 and 3.0 liter engines



1. Remove the recirculation valve and tube.

2. Remove the accelerator cable mounting bracket.

3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the adapter.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
