The adjustable steering column allows you to set the steering wheel to the desired height. Also, when exiting and entering the car, you can raise the steering wheel to the highest position to create more legroom.
The steering wheel should be adjusted so that it is comfortable to drive the car and so that the instrument panel, control lights and instruments are visible.
To adjust the steering wheel angle, press down on the lock release lever, adjust the steering wheel position, and then move the lock release lever up to lock the steering wheel in the selected position.
Be sure to set the steering column to the desired position before starting to drive.
Warnings:
- After adjusting the steering wheel position, make sure the lever is in the lock position.
- Do not adjust the steering wheel position while the vehicle is moving. This adjustment may cause the steering wheel to turn sharply to the left or right and result in loss of control of the vehicle.
