Beam range adjustment servo motor (Opel Frontera A)

The length of the drive rods on the servomotor is adjusted by the manufacturer. It cannot be changed. Before removing the servomotor, set the regulator switch to the "0" position with the headlights on. Then turn off the lights.

Removal

The servomotor is removed as follows:

1. Disconnect the multi-pin plug connection.



2. Turn the servomotor located opposite the rear wall of the headlight by 45° counterclockwise if it is a right-hand motor, or by 45° clockwise if it is a left-hand motor, and remove the motor with the drive rods from the ball joint in the headlight.

Installation

1. When installing, fully insert the drive rods into the ball joint inside the headlight.

2. Check the correct installation and turn the right motor to the right and the left motor to the left in the headlight housing.

3. Finally, connect the plug connection and check the operation of the headlight and adjustment mechanism.
