Handbrake warning switch — removal and installation (Opel Ascona C)

1. The microswitch that warns of the handbrake being engaged is screwed to the handbrake lever (photo).

2. Access to the switch can be gained by removing the handbrake lever as shown in Section 28.

3. Unscrew the bolt and remove the microswitch.

4. Assemble in reverse order.
