Hazard warning light switch — checking and replacing (Opel Zafira A)

To complete the work you will need a multimeter.

Removal on the Astra model

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Use a screwdriver to pry up and remove the switch button.



3. Squeeze the clamps and remove the switch.

Removal on the Zafira model

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Use a screwdriver to pry up and remove the switch button.



3. Squeeze the clamps and remove the switch.

Examination

1. Alternately connecting a multimeter to the switch terminals in the circuit continuity mode, we check the correctness of the switch contacts closing (see table 14.17).

2. If any contacts do not close, replace the switch.

Installation

We install the hazard warning switch in the reverse order.
