Depending on the configuration, the keys can be installed only on the front or on all passenger doors. The operation is shown using the example of the left rear door of the Zafira model, on the other doors and on the Astra model the work is performed similarly.

To complete the work you will need a multimeter.

Removal

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Using a thin slotted screwdriver, pry up the window lift control button.



3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector and remove the key.

Examination

When checking the electric window control key, we check the correctness of the contact closure in different positions of the key (see table 14.20). If the key is faulty, replace it.

To replace the window lift control key, use a thin slotted screwdriver to pry the key up and remove it from the cover.

Installation

We install the electric window control key in the reverse order.
