Description of the design of control and measuring instruments and sensors (Opel Zafira A)

All the vehicle's control and measuring instruments: speedometer, odometer, tachometer, coolant temperature gauge, fuel gauge and warning lights are installed on the instrument panel (see "Controls and instruments").

The tachometer and speedometer are electronic-mechanical, the odometer is fully electronic. Information about the speed of movement and the distance traveled is read from the vehicle speed sensor or the ABS unit (depending on the year of manufacture and modification). Odometer readings (total and daily mileage) are displayed on the liquid crystal display.
