1. Lubricate the hinges of the hood, trunk lid and doors periodically, applying 1-2 drops of motor oil. It is best to do this immediately after the car has been washed.
2. Periodically lubricate the hood latch support pin and hood lock cable.
3. Do not apply excessive lubricant to door latches and counter plates. Usually a little motor oil on the latch fork and a thin coat of high melting point grease on the counter plate is sufficient. Make sure all parts are thoroughly cleaned, wiped dry and properly adjusted before lubricating.
