Lubrication of hinges and locks (Opel Zafira A)

To prevent wear of parts of locks, hinges and opening limiters, it is necessary to periodically (for example, twice a year: in autumn and spring) lubricate them. It is very convenient to use aerosol lubricant for these purposes. Lubrication is carried out in the following order.

1. After opening the door, inject lubricant into the lock mechanism.

2. Apply lubricant to the working surface of the door opening limiter.

3. Inject lubricant into the hinges of the upper and lower door hinges.

4. Lubricate the mechanisms of the remaining doors in a similar manner.
