Lubrication of locks, hinges and stops (Opel Vectra C)

1. A special type of grease must be used to lubricate the lock cylinders Opel № 1948610 and with identification number 09163311. For the remaining lubrication points, you can use bearing grease or heavy-duty grease (Opel № 1948607/-608 with identification number 90510336/-2 280)

2. The following items are subject to lubrication: travel limiters and door hinges of the rear doors, the front door lock cylinder and some other elements shown in the accompanying illustrations. Travel limiters and hinges of the front doors are NOT lubricated!

Attention! After using the anti-icing agent, the door lock cylinders must be lubricated without fail.


3. Check the correct functioning, reliability and precision of all hinges, latches and locks, if necessary, make the appropriate adjustments. Check the correct functioning of the single lock.

4. Check the condition and proper functioning of the tailgate stops - the stops must securely hold the door in the raised position. Replace any faulty components.
