Replacing the cabin filter (Opel Vectra C)

1. The cabin filter is located in the space under the windshield behind the console section of the instrument panel and is designed to clean the air entering the cabin from dust, soot, pollen and spores. When operating in conditions of high dust and gas contamination of the air, the filter element should be replaced more often than specified in the maintenance schedule.

Note: Models equipped with air conditioning are equipped with simple dust filters, while cars without an air conditioning system are equipped with carbon filters (dark filter fiber). When replacing, the new filter element must match the brand of the one being replaced.

2. To remove the filter element (see accompanying illustrations) it is necessary to remove the service cover on the fairing grille and press the 2 clamps in the direction indicated by the arrows. Then feed the replaceable filter element forward (in the direction of the vehicle's movement) and remove it from the socket.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
