Note. In general, always replace both brake discs on the same axle.
Removing
Remove the front wheel.
Release the brake hose from the mounting on the spring strut.
Disconnect the brake hose retainer.
Pull the brake hose out of the mount.
Disconnect the bolts securing the guide pads from the steering knuckle.
Remove the brake caliper from the shoe guide and hang it on the spring strut.
Loosen the clamping bolt.
Remove the brake disc.
Installation
Clean the mating surfaces of the brake disc and wheel hub.
Note. Make sure that the contact surfaces are not deformed or scored.
Attach the brake disc to the front wheel hub with a screw and tighten to 7 Nm.
Attach the shoe guide to the steering knuckle with brake caliper and brake shoe linings, tighten to 100 Nm.
Note. Clean the threads and install the locking compound bolts.
Attach the brake hose to the spring strut.
Attach the brake hose to the mount.
Install the clamping bar.
Install 2 front wheels and torque to 110 Nm.
