Removal


Remove the front wheel.

Remove the brake disc.

Loosen the wheel shaft nut.

Hold the wheel hub with the KM-468-B wrench.

Disconnect the wire harness connector of the wheel sensor.

Disconnect the wheel bearing module by unscrewing the 3 mounting bolts.

Remove 3 bolts.

Remove 3 bolts.


Disconnect the wheel bearing module with protective cover from the steering knuckle and wheel shaft.

Note: Mark the installation position of the wheel bearing module and guard.


Remove the protective cover from the wheel bearing module.

Installation



Attach the wheel bearing module.

Install the protective cover onto the wheel bearing module.

Install the wheel bearing module with protective cover onto the wheel shaft and steering knuckle.



Note: Mark the installation position. Install 3 new bolts and tighten to 90 Nm, further tighten by + 30° and + 15°.


Note: Clean threads and install bolts with locking compound.


Connect the harness connector of the sensor installed on the vehicle wheel.

Secure the wheel shaft to the wheel hub with a new nut, tighten to a torque of 150 Nm, back off by 45°, then tighten to a torque of 250 Nm.

Hold the wheel hub with the special tool KM-468-B.

Install the brake disc.

Install the front wheel and tighten to 110 Nm.
