Removal and installation front brake hoses (Opel Corsa C)

Removal

Fill the brake system hydraulic fluid reservoir to the "MAX" mark and close it using the special tool MKM-558-10.

Remove the front wheel.

Remove the banjo bolt (3) from the brake caliper.

Note: Collect the leaking brake fluid and plug the hole.

Disconnect the clamping bar and the brake system pipe fitting (1) from the brake hose.

Remove the brake hose from the mount.

Installation

Attach the brake hose to the caliper using a banjo bolt with new O-rings and tighten to 40 N·m.

Connect the brake pipe to the brake hose and tighten to a torque of 14 N·m.

Note: Install the brake hose for the IDS+ chassis. Record the mounting dimension (I) of the tread (arrow in the picture).

Mounting dimension (I): 53 mm.

Note: Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted during installation.

Install the brake hose into the bracket and slide on the clamp bar.

Secure the wiring harness of the sensor installed on the vehicle wheel to the clamp.

Install the front wheel and tighten to 110 Nm.

Bleed the brake system and check for leaks.

Adjust the brake fluid level so that it is at the "MAX" mark.
