Caution! Before carrying out repair work on the ABS hydraulic unit or the control unit for the ABS hydraulic unit, it is necessary to read the repair instructions.
Removal
Move the seal for the radiator tank 2 as far as possible.
Fold protective cover 1 for the master brake cylinder upwards.

Install the KM-558-10 tool on the brake fluid reservoir.
Unscrew the screw cap 1.
Fill the brake fluid to the brim.
Tighten with KM-558-10.
Note: Collect any spilled brake fluid.
Loosen brake pipes 2 on the master cylinder.
Loosen 2 nuts.
Remove brake pipe guide 3 from the end panel.

Remove the ABS hydraulic unit.
Remove all brake pipes from the hydraulic unit.
Unscrew 6 nuts (arrows).
Note: Use a pipe wrench. Pay attention to the compliance of the brake pipe.
Insert the wire harness connector 1.
Unscrew 2 nuts 2.
Unscrew the hydraulic unit into the end panel through the holder.
Installation
Install the ABS hydraulic unit.
Unscrew the hydraulic unit into the holder.
Tighten 2 nuts 2 10 Nm.
Insert the wire harness connector 1.
Install all brake pipes into the hydraulic unit.
Tighten 6 nuts (arrow) 16 Nm.
Note: Use a pipe wrench. Pay attention to the compliance of the brake pipe.
Fit brake pipes 2 to the master cylinder.

Tighten 2 nuts to 16 Nm.
Fit the brake pipe guide 3 to the end panel.
Bleed the brake system and check for leaks.

Fold protective cover 1 for the master brake cylinder upwards.
Install the seal on the radiator tank 2.
When replacing the control unit: program the ABS control unit.
