Removal and installation of the ABS hydraulic unit (Opel Kadett E)

Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

Fill the reservoir with brake fluid and close it with a sealed cap.

Remove the hydraulic unit cover.

Unscrew and disconnect the hydraulic system pipes from the hydraulic unit, noting the markings on their position.

Disconnect the electrical wiring connector.

Remove the relay from the hydraulic unit.



Loosen the valve body bracket mounting bolts.

Disconnect the jumper to ground from the hydraulic unit.

The installation of the hydraulic unit is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
