Caution: Do not allow dirt to enter the fuel system tract!

Caution: Before working on the fuel supply system on models equipped with engines with a fuel injection system, "Common Rail", you must wait approximately 1 minute after turning off the ignition - during this time the pressure in the fuel line is automatically reduced!

1. Loosen the mounting clamps and remove the throttle body inlet pipe (see accompanying illustration). Unscrew 2 bolts and separate the cable harness, disconnect the ventilation system hose (see ibid).

16.1. Upper clamp (3) for fastening the inlet pipe (1) of the throttle valve (z13DT engine) - the bolts for fastening the electrical wiring harness are indicated by arrows: 2. Ventilation system hose

2. Loosen the union nuts securing the four high-pressure fuel lines to the fuel distribution line and injectors and remove the fuel lines (see accompanying illustration).

3. Separate the high-pressure fuel supply line of the injection pump from the main line (see illustration 16.2).

4. Disconnect the electrical connector of the pressure reducing valve and the fuel rail pressure sensor. Remove the oil return line from the injectors (see illustration 16.2).

5. Loosen the fastening clamps and disconnect the fuel drain lines of the high-pressure fuel pump and the fuel distribution line.

6. Remove 2 bolts (see illustration 16.2) and remove the fuel distribution line.

7. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When replacing the fuel distribution line, reinstall the pressure sensor and pressure reducing valve with new gaskets on the body of the new line, also replace the hollow bolt of the return fuel line.

8. Start the engine and let it idle. Visually check the fuel supply system for leaks.

Caution: When inspecting, wear protective glasses and rubber gloves!
