Removing
Upper section
1. Remove the air cleaner (see chapter Power and exhaust systems).
2. Turn out fixing screws and remove the top section of a cover of a gas-distributing belt.
Bottom section
1. Remove the top section of the cover (see above).
2. Remove the crankshaft pulley (see Removal and installation of the crankshaft pulley).
3. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner assembly (see chapter Engine electrical equipment).
4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the bottom section of a cover from the engine.
Back cover
1. Remove the timing belt, its tensioner and timing gears (see Removing and installing timing belt and Removal and installation of the timing belt tensioner and timing gears).
2. Support the engine with a trolley jack - in order to distribute the load, lay a block of wood between the head of the jack and the pallet.
3. Mark the installation position of the right power unit suspension support, then remove the three bolts securing it to the engine block. Give bolts of fastening of basic knot to a body element and remove a support in gathering with an arm.
4. Release the electrical wiring of the crankshaft position sensor from the latches on the cover (CKP), - try to remember the route of laying the tourniquet.
5. Turn out fixing bolts and remove a back cover from the engine.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order to the dismantling of the components. Check that the CKP sensor wiring harness is properly routed and secure. When installing the crankshaft pulley, do not forget to replace the bolt of its fastening. Tighten all fasteners to the required torque.
