Removal



1. Remove the exhaust manifold and turbocharger assembly (see Removal and installation the exhaust manifold).

2. Transfer the exhaust manifold assembly with turbocharger to the work bench, remove the mounting bolts/nuts and remove the exhaust connecting flange with the sealing gasket.

3. Loosen the union nuts and disconnect the oil feed pipe from the cylinder block and turbocharger - be prepared to collect any spilled oil.

4. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the oil return pipe with the gasket.

5. Loosen the mounting bolts/nuts and remove the turbocharger with the sealing gasket from the manifold.

Do not attempt to disassemble the turbocharger yourself - if necessary, seek help from car service specialists.

Installation



Installation is carried out in reverse order.

1. Don't forget to replace the sealing elements. Tighten all fasteners to the required force.

2. Finally, install the manifold assembly with the turbocharger on the vehicle (see Removal and installation the exhaust manifold).
