Turbocharger — removal and installation (Opel Vectra B)

Removal

1. Remove the exhaust manifold together with the turbocharger.

Engine 1.7 l

2. Unscrew the nuts and remove the exhaust section with the gasket from the turbocharger.

3. Remove the bolts and coolant supply pipe with gasket from the turbocharger.

4. Unscrew the union nut and remove the oil supply pipe to the turbocharger.

5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the oil return pipe.

6. Unscrew the nuts and remove the turbocharger with manifolds.

2.0L engines

7. Remove the bolts and remove the exhaust section and gasket from the turbocharger.

8. Unscrew the bolts and remove the oil supply pipe.

9. Unscrew the bolts and remove the oil return pipe.

Unscrew the bolts and remove the turbocharger with the manifold.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
