Sedan/Hatchback (GTS)
1. Open the trunk lid/tailgate.
2. On Hatchback (GTS) models, remove the luggage compartment parcel shelf and fold the rear bench seat backrest.
3. Fold up the handle of the removable luggage compartment floor cover, secure the cover in the open position using the handle (see Chapter "Controls and operating techniques", Section 17) or remove the cover.
4. Remove the tailgate sill trim/trunk opening lower trim (see Section 48).
5. Using a plastic wedge, remove the 2 fasteners, remove the side trim and remove it from the luggage compartment.
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, making sure that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim.
Models Universal
7. Fold down the rear bench seat back.
8. Open the tailgate and remove the luggage compartment ceiling trim.
9. Press down the handle of the removable luggage compartment floor cover, open and remove the cover.
10 Remove the rear door sill trim (see Section 48).
11. Remove the decorative covers, unscrew the tweezers and remove the luggage compartment anchor eyes (see accompanying illustration).

12. Separate the upper and lower guides from the corresponding side of the luggage compartment, unscrew the 6 fastening screws hidden underneath them (see illustration 46.11), separate and remove the side trim.
13. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Signum Models
14. Open the tailgate and remove the luggage compartment ceiling trim.
15. Remove the rear door sill trim (see Section 48).
16. Unscrew the 3 fasteners at the front of the luggage compartment floor. Remove the decorative covers, unscrew the screws securing the two anchor eyes and remove the eyes. Press down the handle of the removable luggage compartment floor cover, open and remove the cover.
17. Remove the rear door opening seal in the area where it meets the side trim.
18. Fold down the rear bench seat backrest and remove the C-pillar trim (see Section 45).
19. Press the latches, fold back and remove the luggage compartment storage compartment lid.
20. Using a screwdriver, carefully pry up and remove the luggage compartment light, disconnect the wiring connector and remove the light (see accompanying illustration).

21. Pull out the seat belt on the luggage compartment side trim and remove the 5 upper mounting screws (see illustration 46.20). Press the fasteners and remove the trim from the side.
22. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, making sure that the inner edge of the seal is on top of the trim.
