Removal
1. The fuel flow damper is located on the fuel pump bracket under the rear of the vehicle on the right side of the spare wheel well or in front of the fuel tank, depending on the model (see illustration). The damper is installed in the fuel supply line between the fuel pump and the fuel filter and is designed to reduce pressure fluctuations in the return fuel line, thereby reducing the noise level.

2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
3. Prepare a container to collect the fuel that spills out when you disconnect the extinguisher.
4. Clamp the fuel supply hoses on both sides of the extinguisher to reduce fuel loss when disconnecting the hoses.
5. Loosen the clamp screws and disconnect the fuel supply hoses from the extinguisher.
6. Unscrew the fastening nut and remove the damper from the bracket.
Installation
7. Perform installation in reverse order.
8. Start the engine and check the system for leaks. If there is a leak, turn off the engine immediately and correct the problem without delay.
