Removal and installation the outside temperature sensor (Opel Vivaro A)

The temperature sensor is located in the outside rearview mirror on the right side.

Removal



1. Peel off the lower reflective glass from the rear view mirror using the putty knife 1, then finish the peeling off using the tool Sag. 1363 2 (figure 9.32a, b).

2. Disconnect the temperature sensor and cut the wires 3 at a distance of approximately 4 centimeters from the sensor (figure 9.33).

Installation



3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Connect the two temperature sensor wires using heat shrink sleeves.

Glue the glass using double-sided adhesive tape.

Note: The resistance of the outside temperature sensor should be approximately 2500 ohms at 20°C.
