Removal
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Using a filling station, drain the refrigerant from the refrigeration circuit.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.
4. Remove the engine sump guard and disconnect the air conditioning system pipes.
5. Disconnect the wiring connector A from the compressor (figure 9.23).

6. Unscrew the three compressor mounting bolts (figure 9.24).

Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. When replacing a compressor, please note that the new compressor is supplied fully filled with oil. Tighten the refrigeration circuit pipe fastening bolts on the compressor to a torque of 30 Nm. Fill the refrigeration circuit with refrigerant using a filling station.
