Removal and installation the gearbox (Opel Vivaro A)

Removal



1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Using a filling station, drain the refrigerant from the refrigeration circuit.

3. Remove the air intake unit (figure 9.26).

4. Loosen nut A and bolt B (figure 9.27). Disconnect the high pressure line and completely unscrew the nut. Remove the gearbox using long, flat-nose pliers.

Installation



5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Lubricate the line gaskets with compressor oil. Charge the refrigeration circuit with refrigerant using a charging station. When replacing the gearbox, add 10 ml of the recommended oil to the compressor.
