Note: To properly check the oil level, the vehicle must be level.
2. Remove the differential fluid fill/measurement plug and make sure the fluid level is near the bottom of the plug hole. Use a hex wrench to unscrew it.
3. Using your little finger as a dipstick, check the liquid level - it should reach the bottom of the cork hole. If this is not the case, use a syringe to add the recommended oil to the level where it starts to overflow from the edge of the neck.
4. Install the cover and tighten it securely.
5. If you notice that too frequent topping up is required, this may only be due to the presence of leaks that should be identified and repaired before serious problems appear.
