Steering wheel adjustment (Opel Frontera A)

Fine adjustment of the steering position is performed after installing the steering gear and steering rods or steering column.



If the tie rods have been replaced or adjusted, it is necessary to measure the length "L" of the tie rods, shown in the illustration. On cars produced before 1995, this size should be 262 mm; on cars produced later, the size is 299 mm.

1. Drive the vehicle and make sure that the steering wheel is in the position shown in the illustration.

2. If the steering wheel is in a different position, remove it as described below and put it in the correct position.
