1. Remove the caps from the battery cells and check the electrolyte level as described in Section 3. Add more level if necessary. Note that topping up the electrolyte is not necessary if the battery is installed and does not require constant topping up if used under normal conditions (see photo 2.1).

2. Check the condition of the alternator belt and, if necessary, adjust its tension by contacting Chapter 2.
3. Periodically check that the headlights are functioning correctly (front and rear), windshield wipers and washer, as well as a sound signal.
