Level Control System Components — Removal and Installation (General Description) (Opel Ascona C)

1. If you suspect a fault in the level control system, it is important that it is checked by your dealer without delay. If you suspect a leak in the system, inspect the condition and security of the hoses and connectors of the system.

2. If you disconnect or remove any part of the level control system, the system must first be relieved of pressure.

3. Completely release the pressure in the level control system, or at the valve (manual system) or by loosening the pressure line coupling (automatic system).

4. If you remove any of the electrical components of the automatic level control system, first disconnect the battery ground cable.

5. When reinstalling system components, ensure that connectors are tightened to the specified torque value and that system hoses are properly positioned. After the system has been pressurized, check for air leaks.
