During the production process, the vacuum hose is pressed onto the one-way valve under the influence of heat, therefore, when replacing the valve for the first time, it is necessary to install a conventional vacuum hose, attaching it to the valve with clamps. After that, the hose and valve can be changed separately.
1. Loosen the hose union nut near the intake manifold.
2. Pull the elbow out of the booster. Please note that for some models, the nozzle and hose are connected using a so-called quick clamp. In this case, press the latch of the clip and separate it.
3. Release the hose from the plastic holders. Where necessary, disconnect the vacuum hose from the T-piece.
4. Cut the hose near the one-way valve, elbow, and intake manifold coupler.
5. Install new vacuum hoses and attach them to the one-way valve, elbow, and coupler with clamps. Make sure the arrows on the valve point towards the intake manifold.
6. Push the elbow into the booster O-ring and tighten the union nut onto the intake manifold. Attach the hose with new plastic ties. Connect small gauge vacuum hoses to T-pieces.
7. Check up action of the vacuum amplifier and all brake system.
