On vehicles with engines «13S», «14NV» And «16SV» Pierburg 2EZ carburetor is used. Carburetor emulsion type, two-chamber, with sequential opening of throttle valves.
The carburetor has two main dosing systems of the 1st and 2nd chambers, an idle system of the 1st chamber with a transition system, a transition system of the 2nd chamber, blocking of the 2nd chamber, an economizer of power modes, an econostat, a diaphragm accelerator pump, an automatic device for starting and heating of a mixed type, which uses an electrically heated bimetallic spring and the circulation of heated liquid from the engine cooling system, and uses an air damper pneumatic actuator and an electric heating device for the inlet pipeline. The carburetor has a pneumatic actuator of the throttle valve of the 1st chamber, which controls its movement in idle and forced idle modes, as well as a pneumatic actuator of the throttle valve of the 2nd chamber. At forced idle, the forced idle economizer is activated.
Vehicles with engine «14NV» equipped with model 90 107 560 carburetors «16SV» with a manual transmission, a carburetor model 90 107 522 is installed, with an automatic transmission - models 90 107 523.
Carburetor GM Varajet II
Vehicles with engine «16S» equipped with a GM Varajet II carburetor.
Carburetor emulsion type, two-chamber, with sequential opening of throttle valves. The carburetor has the main metering systems of the 1st and 2nd chambers, the idling system of the 1st chamber, the idle mixture amount correction system, the hot engine idle air valve, the mixture composition compensation system of the 2nd chamber, the enrichment valve 2- th chamber, econostat, blocking of the 2nd chamber, solenoid idle shut-off valve, piston accelerator pump. The carburetor of cars with a manual transmission has a starting device with a mechanical choke drive, the carburetor of cars with an automatic transmission has an automatic starting device.
On vehicles with engine «16S» with a manual transmission, a carburetor model 96 002 101 is installed, with an automatic transmission - models 96 002 102.
