Power window controls
The models covered in this manual may be equipped with manual or electric power windows.
Manual drive
Manual control of the top hatch is carried out using the rotary handles located on the inside of the corresponding door (see illustration 17.21). Rotate the handle clockwise or counterclockwise to set the glass to the desired position.

Electric drive
Attention: Before closing the windows, make sure that none of the passengers put their hands out of the window or stick out any objects - it is recommended to explain to all passengers the rules for the safe use of power windows!
On models of the corresponding configuration, the windows of the front doors can be equipped with electric drives. The power windows operate only when the ignition is on.
The key switches for controlling the power windows of the driver's and front passenger's doors are mounted in the armrest of the driver's door (see illustration 17.22), and in the armrest of the front passenger door, an individual switch of this door. The functional readiness of the switches is confirmed by the activation of the LEDs built into the keys.
17.22. Power window rocker switches
To lower/raise the window, press the corresponding edge of the switch button. When pressed briefly, the window will lower/raise a certain distance. If the button is held longer, the window will automatically lower/raise to the end position. In this case, to stop the window in an intermediate position, briefly press the same edge of the button.
If, when moving to the upper position, the control sensor detects increased resistance to the rise of the glass, due to the ingress of foreign objects between the glass and the upper frame of the driver's door, the glass will stop forward movement and immediately lower.
If the glass lifting resistance is due to other causes (e.g. due to frost on the outside of the glass) it is necessary to repeatedly press the button of the corresponding door until the glass gradually rises completely.
Power window failures
If an overload occurs in the drive circuits due to too frequent repeated action on the switches or for other reasons, the power supply will automatically stop for a short time. If after a while the drive does not activate, check the appropriate fuses (see chapter 12).
After a power interruption (e.g. when the battery is disconnected) it is necessary to synchronize the electric drive mechanism as follows:
- Close all doors and turn on the ignition;
- Lower the driver's door glass;
- Press and hold the appropriate switch key until the glass is fully raised and for at least 5 seconds more;
- Repeat the procedure for the front passenger door power window.
If synchronization does not lead to the elimination of failures, contact the manufacturer's service station for help.
Power window control from outside
On models equipped with power windows, the windows can be raised from the outside using the key. Details see Section 8.
Door mirror adjustment controls
Attention: Checking and adjusting the rear-view mirrors should be carried out before driving, - adjusting the mirrors while the car is moving can lead to loss of control over the traffic situation and to an accident!
The exterior mirrors are spherical in design (with appropriate equipment), to expand the field of view.
Attention: Spherical exterior mirrors distort the dimensions and distances to objects. Objects observed through mirrors appear to be more distant than they really are.
Adjustment of the position of the door mirrors can be carried out manually using the levers built into the triangular lining of the front doors (see illustration 17.23), or (with appropriate equipment) with electric drive (see below). Combined door mirror adjustment switch integrated into driver's door armrest panel (see illustration 17.24). The choice of the mirror to be adjusted is made using the selector switch - when the toggle switch is switched to one of the positions (left/right) control switches to the corresponding mirror. Changing the tilt angle of the mirror in the horizontal and / or vertical plane is carried out by pressing the corresponding sector of the 4-position switch. Activation of the mirror drive becomes possible only when the ignition is on.

If necessary, the exterior mirrors can be pressed against the surface of the door glass. Folding and unfolding of external mirrors is made manually.
On models equipped with sports-type mirrors, the mirror housing is separated from the holders when an obstacle is touched. To install the housing, insert it into the holders and press until it locks into place (see illustration 17.25).
