Power take-off socket (Opel Corsa C)

The power take-off socket is designed to connect additional power consumers designed for a supply voltage of 12 V and a power consumption of no more than 120 W. If equipped accordingly, it is built into the central console instead of the cigarette lighter (see illustration 17.28) and is equipped with a protective cover.

Note: The cigarette lighter socket can also be used as such a socket.


Caution: Do not use electrical appliances with unsuitable plugs to avoid damaging the socket! The maximum power consumption of additional electrical appliances must not exceed 120 W! Do not connect electrical appliances that produce electric current, such as chargers or batteries! Electrical appliances to be connected must comply with the electromagnetic compatibility standard DIN VDE 40 839 - otherwise malfunctions in the vehicle may occur!
