Careful treatment of the power unit at the initial stage of vehicle operation is the key to its reliable and efficient operation throughout the remaining service life declared by the manufacturers. First 1000 km mileage, you should try to drive with variable speed and with frequent changes in engine speed within the permissible range. Avoid increased loads at the initial stage of vehicle operation, leading to the need to fully open the throttle valve, try not to exceed the value of 3/4 of the maximum permissible crankshaft speed when driving in the selected gear (red range of tachometer scale). During the first run 200 km try to avoid harsh braking - brake smoothly and with moderate intensity, if possible.
If possible, try to avoid pressing the gas pedal beyond the point of resistance that leads to kickdown mode activation (models with AT).
Avoid manual downshifting for engine braking purposes. On AT models, move the selector lever to the limited shift range positions only when absolutely necessary (for example, when driving in mountainous areas). After the first 1000 km during the run, the driving speed and engine speed can be gradually increased to the maximum values.
