Brake pedal — removal and installation (Opel Vectra B)

Removal

1. Remove the vacuum booster.

2. Remove the nuts securing the brake pedal bracket to the engine compartment bulkhead.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake light switch.

4. Under the panel, unscrew the bolts securing the rear part of the brake pedal bracket.

5. Remove the pedal with the bracket from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, lubricate the hinge axis with a thin layer of universal grease.
