Rear brake disc — removal and installation (Opel Vectra B)

Removal

1. Remove the rear brake pads.

2. Remove the rear caliper without disconnecting the brake hose. Using soft wire, tie the rear caliper to the rear strut.



3. Unscrew the mounting screw.



4. Remove the rear brake disc from the hub. If the handbrake pads prevent the brake disc from being removed, insert a screwdriver through the hole in the hub and, turning the adjusting bar wheel, compress the handbrake pads.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
