Note: Whenever any of the power window components has been removed, after the component has been installed, the power window control must be programmed as described in Chapter 45.
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
Switches mounted on the rear door
Removal
2. Using a lever, remove the plastic trim from the inner door handle.
3. Carefully lever the switch out of its place and disconnect the wiring connector.
Installation
4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Switches installed on the central console
Removal
5. Switches must be removed as a complete assembly. If one switch is faulty, replace the complete assembly.
6. Remove the rear part of the center console as described in Section 11.
7. Release the retaining clips and remove the switch assembly through the top of the central console.
Installation
8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Electric drive motors
9. Remove the door window regulator as described in Section 11.
10. To remove the motor assembly from the front window regulator, remove the three motor mounting nuts and the single screw securing the pulse unit to the regulator assembly. Remove the motor together with the pulse unit. Note that if either the motor or the pulse unit is faulty, the two components must be replaced as an assembly (see illustration).

11. The motor assembly mounted to the rear window regulator is an integral part of the regulator. If they are faulty, replace the complete motor/regulator assembly.
