Rear Up Door Wiper Motor — Removal and Installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Remove the windshield wiper arm as described in Chapter 36.

3. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rear trim panel of the rear door that opens upward.

4. Disconnect the engine wire contact.

5. Remove the two engine mounting bolts, noting the ground loops under the bolt heads (see illustration).



6. Remove the engine assembly from the rear upward opening door.

Installation

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, make sure that the slot on the rubber seal of the drive axle coincides with the cut on the drive axle (see illustration).
