Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Disconnect the rear door wiper arm as shown above.
Remove the plastic cover from the end of the wiper spindle, unscrew the spindle nut and remove the gasket.
Remove the rear door trim panel.
Locate the motor wire connector and separate the halves of the connector.
Remove the two bolts, noting the location of the ground wires, and remove the electric motor assembly from the rear door.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, ensuring that the rubber mounting pads are correctly positioned in the rear door opening and that the ground wires are installed in the same way as before removal.
