Speedometer Flexible Shaft — Removal and Installation (Opel Astra F)

Remove the instrument panel.

Carefully remove the speedometer flexible shaft by passing it through the bulkhead into the engine compartment and note its location.

The flexible shaft can then be removed from the vehicle.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, after checking the correct position of the flexible shaft. Make sure that the cable is not twisted and does not touch the instrument panel.
