Antenna — removal and installation (Opel Vectra A)

Removal

1. On models with an electric antenna, disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Remove the left rear luggage compartment trim panel as described in Section 11.

3. Unscrew the screw that secures the ground cable to the body (see illustration).



4. Remove the screw securing the bracket to the body and pull the antenna out through the sealing ring in the body. Disconnect the wiring connector on models with an electric antenna and the antenna cable (see illustrations).

Installation

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but make sure that the rubber sealing ring is correctly installed on the body.
